Funding Guidelines and Priorities
With guidance from the Special Technology Fund Committee, UWCI has developed new Policies and Procedures which establish funding guidelines and will guide the work of this Committee in the review and approval of future grant submittals. A copy is attached for reference.
Any UWCI accredited CBO desiring to submit an application will be required to demonstrate that the proposed project is a result of a thorough assessment and prioritization of organizational needs and completion of a thoughtful planning process.
Follow the link to view a full description of the Technology Fund Policies and Procedures.
Technical Assistance
Technical assistance grants may be available. Application for consideration to be made by applying on-line using the following link: https://uwci.tfaforms.net/4728640. Applications will be reviewed on an open-basis with no established due date. Potential funding of up to 100% of cost with maximum of $3,000.
UWCI has developed a list of consulting organizations that may be able to provide this type of assistance. This is not meant to be an exclusive list of “approved” consultants but any consultant you might be considering must provide a written proposal with a detailed description of proposed work and deliverables.
Technology Project Grant Application Process
Applications will be reviewed and approved, if deemed appropriate by UWCI staff and the Special Technology Fund Committee on a quarterly basis.
The process for Technology Project Grants:
- If you have not undertaken a comprehensive technology assessment that has contributed to how you are prioritizing your organization’s technology needs, please consider the benefits of a high-level assessment and determine if you want to submit for a Technology Assessment grant. See this link to apply for Technology Assessment Grant. https://uwci.tfaforms.net/4728640
- Obtain a scope of work and/or quotes related to all aspects of your technology project that clearly identify the cost and the deliverables of the project. You may submit a detailed project budget as well.
- Apply to UWCI for the Technology Project grant.
- After UWCI approves the grant, complete the technology project.
- After all the components of the project are complete, submit an invoice or invoices to UWCI for the completed work as proposed and approved to receive the grant funding.
- Complete the brief narrative report 3 months post-project completion.
***Projects completed prior to receiving award notification are ineligible for reimbursement.
