United Way of Central Indiana is unveiling two awards at this year’s Annual Celebration that celebrate the leadership, philanthropy and challenging work needed to move our community forward on important social issues.
Employee Resource Group Award
Employee Resource Groups are vital to employee engagement and retention and the culture of a workplace. These corporate-supported groups address important social issues and drive lasting impact both within and outside of the company. The ERG Group Award recognizes and honors an ERG strengthening our community in alignment with United Way of Central Indiana’s impact work in the areas of basic needs, family opportunities and social innovation. This award will be selected by a panel of judges.
Employee Resource Group Leader Award
Employee Resource Groups are driven by the passion and vision of strong leaders who bring the goals of the ERG to life through tangible actions that create lasting impact. Their leadership and commitment to the ERG’s objectives are a critical component of the groups’ ability to successfully address social issues and engage employees. The ERG Leader Award recognizes and honors leaders strengthening our community in alignment with United Way of Central Indiana’s impact work in the areas of basic needs, family opportunities and social innovation. The public will choose the winner from the list of finalists.
